I’ve been carrying a pursuit predicament recently, we used to be a mechanism programmer, though found which to be as well repetative for my personality.
I’m 29, we have a HS diploma, an Associates Degree in Automotive Maintenance Technology from a tech school.
I have about 2 years knowledge as a mechanic, as well as about 3 years knowledge as a Programmer II in Java. My final pursuit paid $55,000 per year….
Here is my criteria:
This time, we do not caring as most about a pay. we usually need about $25,000 per year to have ends meet. I’m peaceful to take reduction to get “in a door”, or until we get a little college preparation in Life Sciences or something.
I wish something which is not regularly in an office. we hated sitting in a same brick each day when we was a programmer.
I have spinal problems, as well as I’ve had a new S5 to sacrum fusion, so we can’t lift complicated objects, or continue steady tortuous as well as light work.
I wish to assistance wildlife or a environment.
I can’t work without delay with animals due to allergies.

Well, you should go to the forestry department for more career opportunities !!!
How about a life change and learn what the rest of the world is doing by becoming a Rodman on a Survey Team. Evaluate how progress & land is being divided & dealt with, see new construction, then go and evaluate, measure all that you see, then write a book about it and start a new book as you continue on.
Try your state or government department of natural resources. You may want to take some more college courses first. Your type of degree may limit your oportunities in the field you’ve chosen but since the state or local agencies don’t pay well for entry level positions your desire to work for $25k may be an asset. I wouldn’t hold my hopes up though without additional college courses because you have no qualifications or experience in environmental studies and they’ll have plenty of applicants that do.
I don’t know about the money, but have you concidered being Forest ranger?
