GOOD HONDA MECHANIC IN NORTH DALLAS?

I’m perplexing to find a great honda automechanic in Dallas ( Irving/Lewisville/Coppell/Addison) area to reinstate a timing belts, H2O siphon upon my ‘new’ 96 accord. we attempted acid around but, we could not find any reviews upon internal shops. Please help.

Dealership quoted $715.00 for timing belt, H2O pump, engine seals as well as expostulate belts

    I personally am not from the area, but that seems like a good price from the dealer. Also, you will know that everything is legit since it’s a Honda dealer.

    I’m not a big fan of the dealerships – they don’t seem to be selling as many cars and must be trying to make it up in the shop. Not that they’re all bad, but just usually more expensive than an independent mechanic. Try taking a look at the Car Talk web site (link below). Check out “Find a Mechanic” and you can search your area and see review of mechanics from regular folks. It’s right on the main page – near the bottom right. I’ve used this tool to find my local mechanic – he does great work, cheaper than the dealer, and is a good guy!
