Here …is my question..so how most years do i have to go to propagandize to be an ase approved mechanic..because which is what i wish to be. Im formulation to take over my dad’s automobile emporium after im certified.

As long as it takes you to pass the ASE certification exam.
You have to have 2 years of schooling or work experience before you can start testing you have to have 5 years experience to be master certified
You gotta have atleast 2 years exp. in the field.. but there 2 testing dates one in april i believe and the other in september..you register for the 1 you wanna goto then take the tests you signed up for
If you want to take the long way college will be about 4-5 years. The way most kids take to get ase certified is through wyotec.com and uti.com it takes between 9 months to 15 months. There tech schools but are faster to get ase certified since its your dads shop he might have a membership with i-car and he can get you practice test, where you are prepared when you take your real test. hope this helps
