There are a ton.. since I have no clue where you are I can only recommend one http://www.asecert.org/. these people have the nationwide ability to help you out. If you call them they should have the ability to direct you to a school. We get our techs from Lincoln Tech and greater NY dealers assoc. You also might try going into a dealerships service dept or a place like Pep boys or so and asking the service manager if they can recommend training or let you speak to a tech yourself. good luck.. I hope your good at electronics. there is very little mechanical left in the modern car.
What does “in training” mean? Are you in a school learning the trade? Ask the instructor. Are you just wishing and figure you can do it on the web? You can’t. Go find a good vo-tech school if you aren’t already in one. Go buy a junker, and start doing some hands on to learn how to turn wrenches and what you find in the engine.
Yes go to howstuffworks.com the auto section excellent site.
